Feline Themed Online Exhibition to Raise Money for Cats Protection

Independent online art retailer BobCat Gallery will launch an online exhibition all about cats this June, with sales benefiting Cats Protection, the UK’s largest cat welfare charity. And I am delighted to be exhibiting with them with three of my paintings.

Hosted in a virtual gallery accessible via the BobCat Gallery website for the whole month and featuring a range of affordable original and limited edition artworks depicting or inspired by our feline friends, the ‘Picture Purrfect’ exhibition can be viewed around the clock and across all devices.

Cats Protection supports an estimated 157,000 cats and kittens across the UK each year, through hundreds of volunteer-run branches and 34 rehoming centres, as well as campaigning on welfare issues and providing education and neutering programmes nationwide. The charity also provides lifeline services to foster cats when owners are seeking refuge from domestic abuse, and a helpline for those experiencing grief after the loss of a pet.

Curator and BobCat Gallery Founder, Catherine Sweet, says: “This show has something for all cat lovers, including some quirky surprises! We are delighted to be able to support Cats Protection in any way we can, and I think the selection of artwork on offer will be a wonderful tribute to all our wonderful feline companions. We also have two furry ‘gallery assistants’ of our own, and I think they would thoroughly approve.”

The exhibition aims to support the charity’s work across the breadth of the UK, with funds raised being donated via the Work for Good platform.
